There is no doubt, Trinidad and Tobago has proven and have set themselves apart, from the carnival nations of the Caribbean as the best in the production of Carnival. The Trinis has consistently produced the best, biggest and best attended carnival among the carnival Caribbean countries, that have been a magnet for carnival lovers and curious tourist, from all part of the world. Once in the history of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) Carnival (Vincy Mass), particularly in the 1970s St. Vincent and the Grenadines was running an extremely close second to our Trini neighbors; in the production of Carnival. Why are the dates of Vincy Carnival Celebrations 2021 is unknow even today? Why does Carnival lovers at home and in the diaspora have to be playing guessing games in planning for Vincy Mass? Why is the dates for Vincy Mass 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 not known?. In 2018, I was inadvertently, introduced to the voice of a female singer, I was taken aback by the quality of the artist’s voice. Her voice was unbelievable. It was not very powerful, where overpowering volume is concerned, but the female vocalist had such beautiful melody, tone and her diction was very good. I mentioned diction here in the introduction; for that is one of the areas that plague Vincentian singers; one of the main obstacles that prevent our artist, from getting to the next level. However; After hearing this young lady sang; I immediately, wanted to know who she was, I could tell from the sweet melodious tones that came from her voice she has not yet begun to utilize, the full extent of her vocal capacity and range.
